Workshops

Our gallery and meeting room are great spaces to enjoy workshops and events, to learn new skills or develop your own practice in a social, creative setting.

This historic Grade II listed building, that was once an important social venue for the town, once again has become a vibrant space for the community to gather and thrive.

We like to host small workshops, either mid-morning or afternoon / early evening, typically 2 hours long.

Past events have included poetry writing workshops, African drumming, photography, and children’s craft. We’ve also hosted workshops with local authors and artists, including our very own studio resident and Patron: bestselling children’s illustrator and writer Sarah McIntyre. Have a look at our Events page for details and if you’re interested in running a workshop do get in touch – we’d love to hear from you.
