John Fisher - Motivational Speaker

John Fisher is a Devon-based motivational and inspirational speaker with a powerful message about taking responsibility and creating positive change.

After fourteen years in the Army, where he rose to Sergeant, John went on to work as a shopkeeper, publican, lorry driver and police officer—bringing broad life experience to his speaking.

His varied career has given him real insight into everyday lives and ambitions. Drawing on the principles of Positive Mental Attitude, John encourages people to build self-belief, think positively and achieve more than they thought possible. His message is simple: motivation is for anyone who wants to go further. The only question is how BIG you want your BIT to be.

John also developed "Develop Success Principles", a practical model built around memorable acronyms. Its first element, "Develop Success Principles Take ACTION", offers simple everyday habits to help people reach their goals and live more fully.

Drawing on personal experience, John shows how positive attitude and expectation can overcome fear and doubt, turning difficult situations into positive outcomes.

John is also active in youth and charity work. He and his wife provide family-based respite care for children with special needs, and he serves as co-founder and chairman of Chernobyl Aid Devon, supporting humanitarian projects in Belarus.

He is also the author of the inspirational children’s novel "The Mountain Express", written to encourage young readers and deliver a meaningful message for parents.
